Episode 124- DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE

DHWAV

With Christmas just around the corner, and a past history of discussing Die Hard movies during the holidays, late November seems like a good time to talk about the decidedly non-Christmas-centric Die Hard With a Vengeance. We loved it when we were kids, but how does it hold up now sandwiched between the two original Die Hard films, and ones that feature Kevin Smith and Russia? Love the podcast. I just wanted to say that you guys had a problem with him figuring out it was a federal reserve. I think the other piece to it that you didn’t mention was that he figured out that the subway was going to blow up regardless because they didn’t have enough time to make it. They needed that hole to get the gold loaded up. The federal reserve was one of the few buildings near the hole. Maybe?

  3. Yeah you’re totally right, I don’t remember if we mentioned it or not, but McClane does realize that the bomb was going to go off no matter what, and he might know that the federal reserve is right there. Still, it’s always funny when a small boy on a bicycle helps an adult cop with his detective work. But I agree, we didn’t give McClane his due.
Thanks for listening and for leaving a comment!
    Cheers
