  1. The Black Christmas/Halloween comparison is an interesting one. Black Christmas was actually quite progressive in terms of the personal issues the characters deal with. Halloween (as you guys pointed out) solidifies traditional values. Which is why Black Christmas is more awesomer.
    The real tragedy of H20 is that is was enough of a success to warrant a sequel, which had Laurie Strode lamely killed by Michael in the first 10 minutes. Making Tyra Banks not the worst thing in it.
    And finally Paul Rudd played the grown up version of the kid that Laurie babysits in Halloween who’s become obsessed with Michael Myers. Which is kind of a cool idea in the middle of a terrible movie.
